I am a PhD student in Computer Science & Engineering at the
University of Washington advised by
Prof. Jacob WobbrockProfessor of Information and, by courtesy, Computer Science & Engineering at the University of Washington in the
ACE Lab. I research and craft interactive social and visual systems that enhance user experience and accessibility. My work goes beyond design to explore the scientific and conceptual depth behind these systems. I challenge existing perspectives and rethink how we evaluate and understand interaction and perception. My research is supported by a Paul G. Allen School Fellowship and NSF Graduate Research Fellowship.
I recieved my M.S. in computer science from
Brown University where I worked with
Prof. Jeff HuangAssociate Professor and Associate Chair of Computer Science at Brown University at the Brown HCI Lab, and
Prof. Michael ParadisoNeuroscientist and Founding Director of the Center for Vision Research at Brown University in the neuroscience department. Before that, I recieved my B.S.from
Arizona State University where I double majored in computer science and psychology.
On the side, I enjoy playing and making video games, skateboarding, watching anime, creating digital art, and playing bass guitar.
